Orange Isle Park is one of the top attraction in Changsha City. The Orange Isle is a famous island along the Xiangjiang River. It runs from south to north through the river center.Standing here, you can look at Yuelu Hill in the west, and the ancient city in the east.
Orange Isle Scenic Area covers an area of 17 hectares, including 6 hectares of open area. The main scenic spots are Wentiantai, Mao Zedong Bronze Statue Square, Orange Garden, Culture of Hunan Exhibition Hall, Xiaoxiang Celebrity Club, Zhuzhang Ancient Ferry, Bamboo Garden, Peach Garden, Plum Garden, Guiyuan Garden, New Poetry Stele, Fireworks Square, Musical fountain, Tourist Service Center, etc.
Located in Orange Isle Scenic Area, the Orange Isle Bridge, which crosses the Xiangjiang River and connects the east and west of Changsha, is commonly known as the First Xiangjiang Bridge. It was built in the 1970s and is one of the landmarks of Changsha.
In Orange Isle，fireworks will be set off on special holidays, such as January 1 (New Year's Day), February 19 (Lantern Festival), May 1 (Labour Day), and October 1 (National Day), which is the most beautiful time in Changsha.
