Yangtze River Cableway has become one of the characteristic tourism experience projects for tourists in the mountainous city of Chongqing. The cableway starts from Chang'an Temple (Xinhua Road) in Yuzhong District and crosses the Yangtze River to Shangxin Street (Longmenhao) in Nan'an District.
Take the cableway and slide towards the opposite bank of the Yangtze River, where you can see the nearby scenery of Chongqing city on both sides of the Yangtze River.
Especially at night, taking the approximately kilometer long Yangtze River Cableway is a great experience for up close observation of Chongqing's night scenery. The brightly lit Yuzhong Peninsula, the dazzling Binjiang Road, the shimmering Yangtze River water, and the colorful cross river bridge complement each other, creating a spectacular view. If you ride the Yangtze River Cableway on a drizzly night, you can also enjoy the city scenery that resembles an ink painting.
