Zhangjiajie is one of the most important tourism cities in China. As the smallest prefecture-level city of Hunan Province., It was founded in August,1988, and was formerly named "Dayong".
Located in the northwest of Hunan Province, Zhangjiajie lies the middle-upper reach of Lishui River of the hinterland of Wuling Mountainous. As a tourism city, Zhangjiajie is regarded as not only an opening window of Hunan but also a beautiful card of China.
