The Bund

Located at the bank of the Huangpu River, the Bund is about 1.5km long. It is a symbolic scenic spot of Shanghai. The essence of the Bund lies in the architectural complex of different countries and the night view of the Pujiang River.

Dozens of classical Renaissance buildings with vastly different styles stand on the Bund, while well-known buildings such as the Bank of China Building, Peace Hotel, Customs Building, HSBC Building, etc. recreate the style of the former "Far East Wall Street". Surprisingly, these buildings were not designed by the same designer or built during the same period, but possessed a unique harmonious beauty. The Bund has various architectural styles, including French classical, French residential, Gothic, etc. These are important historical sites and representative buildings in modern China, and are also a beautiful scenery along the Huangpu River.

At night, the neon lights on both sides of the river are shining in each other's eyes. When you take a cruise ship or ferry to the Huangpu River, the wind blows in the river. On the one hand, it is the Bund that witnesses the historical development, on the other hand, it is Lujiazui, the landmark of Shanghai's modern construction, and the beautiful figure of the Garden Bridge of Shanghai. You can enjoy the beautiful appearance of this bustling city from another angle.
