6 Days Chengdu-Leshan Emei Mountain Tours

Arriving in Chengdu, you will be greeted by the local guide at the airport or railway station. You take the private vehicle to the reserved hotel which is handy-picked by Topchinatravel. With the assistance of the guide, check in the hotel and free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Tips :
1.    Have a good rest at hotel to overcome the jet leg if Chengdu is the 1st city you arrive in China.
2.  Change some money at airport, hotel or local bank with assistance from the guide or you can also withdraw CNY cash from ATM machine directly.

In the early morning, pick up from your hotel and transfer to visit Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding which is about 10 km from Chengdu downtown. This beautifully laid out park is the home of about 80 giant pandas and some other rare animals, such as red panda, black-necked crane, white crane ect. Walking along the excellently designed walkways, you could have a good angle through the open enclosures of giant pandas.

The best time to visit Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is the morning when the pandas are most active in the day. Depart from hotel early in the morning, and arrive at the center before 09:00 am, then you could have chance to see the pandas feeding at around 09:30 am. After the feeding time, you could choose to visit Panda Museum and watch a 20-minute video at Panda Theatre to learn about the research and breeding of the giant pandas. Then walk along the walkways to watch pandas or other rare animals. Besides, you could also choose to deliver a postcard or other panda souvenir from the Panda Post to yourself or your family and friends. The Panda Post is the only post office who has its own post code 610088 and post date mark.

Have a Chinese lunch with traditional Sichuan Hotpot at local restaurant. Then visit Jinsha Ruins Museum, which is the museum established in the Jinsha ruins site, and is also a museum to show categories of ancient Shu culture in Sichuan area during Shang and Zhou dynasty.

At night you can enjoy a traditional opera show as an optional activity at night (show time: 20:00-21:30) 

Sichuan Opera, also Shu Opera, is famous for the performance of Face Changing. There are three theaters to see the show in Chengdu, such as Sichuan Opera Theater, Shufeng Yayun Theater, Chengdu Jinjiang theater, the tickets price is around CNY 200/P.P. Drop off at your hotel in the downtown of Chengdu.

Step 1: 7:00-8:00am, hotel pick-up. 
Step 2: 8:30-11:00am, visiting Chengdu Research Center of Giant Panda Breeding.
Step 3 : 11:00Am-13:00, driving to Leshan. 
Step 4: 13:00-14:00, lunch time. 
Step 5: 14:00-16:30, visiting Leshan Giant Buddha by walking up to the top of the hill. 
Step 6: 16:30-17:15, driving to the foot of Mt.Emei, free visit Emei mountain square until about 18:00. 
Step 7: 18:30Pm-19:30, Sightseeing and Dining at a local restaurant with the help of your guide. (Dinner Cost is not included in tour package) Emei Kungfu show may be suggested by the tour guide as an optional program, it is not compulsory.
Step 8: 20:00, check in at the hotel near the foot of the mountain. 

In the early morning,leaving hotel and changing to pollution-free sightseeing bus at the Mt. Emei bus center, drive about 1.5 hours to Leidongping, then walk up to Jieyin Hall where you can take the cavle car to Golden Summit; sightseeing on Goleden Summit and enjoy the cloud sea, the Holy Buddha Statue, Golden and Silver Palace. Afterwards, go down the mountain and return to Chengdu,end the happy tour of Emeishan!( For the visitors who take our 9 days Sichuan World Heritage tour, the hotel tonight is included.)

Today, you will start your one day tour with a visit to the famous Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (about 40min driving), where you may have chance to see cute pandas. In the afternoon, visit Renmin Park and it is the paradise for local people who addict to dancing, playing mahjong, drinking teas. We will arrange tea break in the park and mahjong lesson if you are interested in. After that enjoy shopping time at Jinli Old Street which is the elegant style of the architectures tells you what Sichuan looks like during the Qing Dynasty. Optional Hot Pot in Sichuan style is available for a dinner if you are interested

Today, you are free at leisure before transferred to airport/ railway station to catch the flight/train for your home or next destination.
