History
Chinese folk music has a long history. One of the Confucianist Classics, Shi Jing, contained many folk songs. Guofeng is a part of Shi Jing and contains the lyrics of folk songs in 15 difierent areas from the West Zhou Dynasty to Spring and Autumn.
Traditional Instruments and Masterpieces
Traditional Chinese musical instruments are symbols of Chinese culture, including Guqin, Guzheng, Pipa, Erhu, Xiao and Chime. The classic masterpiece of music named Gao Shan Liu Shui is closely linked to the story of Yu Boya and Zhong Ziqi.
