Wulei Mountain, formerly known as Dawei Mountain, is located in the east of Cili County, 20 kilometers away from the east exit of Changsha-Zhangjiajie Expressway, Shimen in the north, Linli in the east and Taoyuan in the south, which is the only way for Zhangjiajie city in the east.
Wulei Mountain is a famous Taoist holy land, one of the first identified key religious places in Hunan Province, a national 3A level scenic spot, and a core tourism scenic spot on the eastern route of Zhangjiajie.
Standing at the adjecent of the two counties of Shimen and Taoyuan, Wulei Mountain has not only convenient transportation but also beautiful scenery. In the Wulei Mountainous, there are more than 10 tourism sites. The Golden Palace is built at the summit of Wulei Mountain, with 997 meters above sea level. With its rich Taoist culture and picquresque scenery, Wulei Mountain is worth a visit.
