The Terms and Conditions below govern the relationship between you, the passenger, and us, Zhangjiajie Travel Guide. By booking a trip, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, please be sure to carefully read these terms and make sure you understand and accept these Terms and Conditions.

*Reservation
1) Upon receiving your booking request, one of Zhangjiajie Travel Guide Tours experienced travel consultants will start to assist you in building a pleasant travel plan according to your special requirements and interests within 24 hours.
2) Upon the receipt of a non-refundable deposit of CNY 2,000 per person from you, we'll secure your reservation and process your final booking immediately.(Our average deposit amount is CNY2,000, but this amount is subject to change. It could possibly be higher, or lower depending on group size, and itinerary. Your personal travel consultant will adjust the amount accordingly.)
3) It is highly recommended that your tour reservation be made 30 days prior to the actual traveling date. A full payment by credit card is required 15 days prior to your actual arrival date.
4) When your booking is confirmed, we will send you a confirmation letter informing you with the proposed flights, hotels, and tours in details. If any conditions should change after the confirmation, ZhangjaijieTravelGuide Tours reserves the right to make changes and provide you with the similar alternative options.
*Payment
We accept three ways of payment:
1) Paypal;
2) wire transfer (bank transfer);
3) Western Union transfer.
Detailed payment guide will be sent to you via email by your travel consultant.
*Important note about the exchange rate:
1. Reference exchange rate: please refer to BOC EXCHANGE RATE.
2. The quote we provide is in CNY.
*Cancellation Refunds
We would feel sorry if you decided to cancel your trip to China, however we realize that the majority do so out of necessity.
If you must cancel your trip, please submit your cancellation in written form. Cancellation refunds will be calculated as of the date we receive your written cancellation.
All payments for travel services not provided to the passenger shall be refunded in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and in accordance with ZhangjiajieTravelGuide's cancellation policy. In this event, we will refund any payment made to ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours less any cancellation fee that is applicable within 14days of our receipt of your written cancellation request.
The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:
No less than 30 days before departure: $50 per person
30 to 15 days before departure: $150 per person
14 to 7 days before departure: 50% of the full payment per person
6 to 0 days before departure: 100% of the full payment per person
Traveler substitutions are considered reservation cancellations and are subject to the above cancellation fees.
After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.
*Alteration of Itinerary
Before your booking is confirmed, alterations to your itinerary are happily processed free of charge, because providing the best tour possible for you is our goal. However, alterations after you have received your booking confirmation letter will incur a fee of $25.00 per request, and changes to departure date or destination may incur cancellation fees. All changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours reserves the right to modify the itinerary of your tour if air schedule or surface transportation changes, and/or events beyond its control make such alterations necessary. In this event, any of the increase or reduction of the tour cost will be calculated and charged/ refunded accordingly. If it is you who request the changes to your tour, then you will be required to pay any additional cost in advance.
*Travel Document
A valid passport and necessary visas or permits are required for you traveling on our programs. All such documentation is the sole responsibility of yours, though your travel consultant may assist you in applying for the necessary travel documentation upon your request. ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for your failure to obtain appropriate documentation.
*Luggage Allowance
According to the regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, the free baggage allowance within China is 20kg (44pounds) for the economy class, 30kg (66pounds) for the business class, and 40kg (88pounds) for the first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of yours. Regulations within China specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft.
*Medical Issues
You must advise us in writing, at or prior to booking, of any physical, emotional or mental condition which may require professional attention during the trip or may require the use of special equipment. If you require a wheelchair, you must provide your own small, collapsible wheelchair. Certain features, and certain trips, are not wheelchair-accessible. We cannot guarantee any wheelchair assistance or accessibility in international destinations. ZhangjaijieTravelGuide Tours reserves the right to decline any trip participant whose condition, in our opinion, may affect the health, safety or enjoyment of other participants.
We cannot accommodate women past their sixth month of pregnancy.
You should take into account all international travel risks and familiarize yourselves with health requirements applicable to the areas you intend to visit. You are solely responsible for checking the safety and security conditions, vaccination, and other health requirements of governments in countries you are going to visit or transit.
Travelers to Tibet are required to provide a doctor's certificate stating that the he/she is fit to travel and his/her blood pressure and heart condition are normal in case that the very high altitude have the possible effects on certain people.
*Insurance
ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours tour packages include China Life Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance up to a maximum of $24,000 provided free of charge as part of our package. However, we still highly recommend that you purchase full coverage travel insurance from your country of origin. Insurance provided by Travel Sichuan Guide Tours is not applicable where only hotel or flight booking are purchased through ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours.
*Responsibility
The responsibility of ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours and its affiliated companies is strictly limited. ZhangjaijieTravelGuide Tours shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts, omissions, or failure to act of any suppliers such as those of surface, air, and water transportation, sightseeing excursions, cruise/hotel accommodations, or of any third party not directly owned or operated by ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours. By utilizing the travel services of the Suppliers, you agree that you will look to such Suppliers for any accident, injury, property damage, or personal loss to you or to those traveling with you, and that neither ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours nor any representative of ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours shall be liable.
Without limitation, ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property, death, delay, or inconvenience in connection with the provision of, or failure to provide, any goods or services occasioned by or resulting from--but not limited to--acts of God or force majeure, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or other failure of airplanes of other means of transportation or for the failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time, sanitation problems, lack of medical care, or for any other cause beyond the direct control of Travel Sichuan Guide Tours. Nor is ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours responsible for the stolen and lost of your valuable items due to your own negligence.
ZhangjaijieTravelGuide Tours is not responsible for your failure to comply with customs regulations.
ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours reserves the right to substitute hotels of similar quality at any time or to make changes in itinerary of similar quality, flights, or cruise ships, or to cancel the tour prior to departure. If ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours has cancelled any tour prior to the commencement of the tour, ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours is liable for a full refund of the money received by ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours. If you purchase an airline ticket separately, ensure that your agent explains the conditions under which the ticket is issued as ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours is not responsible for such airline ticket cancellation fees.
ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours reserves the right to correct promotional or pricing errors at any time, or to increase the program price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, cruise fares, currency fluctuations, park fee increases, taxes, or fuel surcharges.
Please understand that not all museums and attractions are open every day of the year. ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours reserves the right to vary the sequence of sightseeing and/or to re-route the order of cities if that will enable you to visit all listed excursions. In either case, the itinerary content will be maintained to the extent possible and there are no refunds for any unused or unavailable excursions.
Many of ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours tour packages include activities that require care attention. Such activities include boarding and going ashore from boats, climbing hills and entering and exiting tombs and caves etc. You will receive help and advice from our representatives but all activities are undertaken at your own risk. ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours, its employees and agents cannot be responsible for any action or event that occurs after its employees and agents have exercised their duty and taken the necessary care.
*Complaints and Claims
Whenever you feel unsatisfied with any service ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours has provided, please inform your local tour guide or your travel consultant immediately to avoid similar problems happening again either before or during your trip.
If you want to complain or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email, regular mail, or facsimile in writing within 15 days upon your finish of your tour. Please attach relevant receipts and substantiating evidence to the letter of claim. ZhangjiajieTravelGuide Tours will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after you finish your tour.
