Pin'an Village is the earliest tourism development village in Longji Terraced Field Scenic Area. The tourism reception facilities here, such as food, drink, and entertainment, are more complete. This village is home to 170 households, with a population of over 700 people, mostly Zhuang ethnic settlements surnamed Liao (廖).
What to see?
Terraced Fields Ping'an Village are located on a mountain slope at an altitude of 380 meters to 880 meters. There are two viewpoints here, namely the Nine Dragons Five Tigers, the Seven Stars With Moon.
Nine Dragons Five Tigers : The Nine Dragons refer to the ridges of nine mountains that can be seen along the direction of the terraced fields. It is like nine long dragons bending down from the sky to drink water at the Jinjiang River. Next to him, there are five mall hills crouching on the ground like five tigers, guarding the soil and water in this area. Terraced fields are like chains, winding from the foot of the mountain all the way to the top of the mountain. The small mountains are like snails, and the large mountains are like towers. In this vast world of terraced fields, there are a total of 15862 terraced fields of different sizes
Seven Stars With Moon: The Seven Stars refer to the seven small hills left behind when the fields were first opened, resembling seven twinkling stars, accompanying the silver shimmering paddy field on the mountaintop. From a distance, they resemble seven stars accompanying a bright moon, forming a beautiful picture.
However,the stilt houses and Zhuang People’s costumes and foods are the highlights in Pingan Village. Besides, two sightseeing terraces, Nine Dragons Five Tigers and Seven Star with the Moon are must-go places in the village.
