Xianggong Mountain（相公山 Xiang Gong Shan） is located on the west bank of the Li River in Putao Village of Xingping Town, Yangshuo County, between the two scenic spots of Huangbu Reflection and Nine Horse Painting Mountain. 相公 ( Xiang Gong) means young gentleman, so this mountain looks like a young genleman if you watch and imagine it . Hence its name.
Xianggong Mountain is the best viewing platform for appreciating the scenery of Yangshuo. The light and shadow, sea of clouds, sunrise, and colorful clouds here have attracted countless photographers and photography enthusiasts to come and take photos. The works taken by Guilin photographers here have won the bronze medal at the 10th International Film Festival.
Climbing onto Xianggong Mountain and gazing into the distance, one can see the towering peaks like stalagmites in full view. The clear Li River meanders through the peaks, forming a large curved hook. In the morning mist, it is like a clear divine stroke in ink painting.
Xianggong Mountain is not very high and can be reached in about 20 minutes. However, due to its remote location and pristine scenery, the journey up and down the mountain is steep. It is important to pay attention to safety during the trip. At the foot of the mountain, you can enjoy the scenery of Jiuma Huashan. From here, take a ferry to the opposite bank of the river, and then take a car to Xingping Ancient Town for sightseeing.

Transportation: If not self driving, you need to charter a car about CNY 300 from Yangshuo or Xingping.
