The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has a distinct four season maritime subtropical monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of 23.3 ℃. The temperature may drop below 10 ℃ in winter and rise above 31 ℃ in summer. The rainfall is concentrated from May to September, accounting for about 80% of the annual rainfall. Abundant rainfall throughout the year, fragrant flowers throughout the year, warm and foggy spring, hot and rainy summer, sunny autumn, and slightly dry and cold winter.
