It typically provides over 1100 flights daily to approximately 240 destinations worldwide, including around 50 mainland cities. In 2019, Hong Kong Airport had an air cargo volume of 4.8 million tons and an air passenger volume of 71.5 million.

The Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge: The Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge spans the Lingdingyang Ocean, connecting the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to the east and the Zhuhai City and Macao Special Administrative Region in Guangdong Province to the west. It is the first large-scale cross sea transportation project jointly constructed by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao under the framework of "One Country, Two Systems". It officially started construction in December 2009 and was put into operation on October 24, 2018.

Sea Transportation
The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region is an important maritime transportation hub in Asia, providing approximately 340 container ships per week to around 470 destinations worldwide. In 2019, the container throughput was 18.364 million TEUs, ranking seventh among global container ports.
Victoria Harbour, located between Kowloon and Hong Kong Island, is one of the three natural harbors in the world due to its wide and deep waters, as well as being surrounded by ships on all sides, making it favorable for navigation. The Shenzhen River is the boundary line between Hong Kong and mainland China, creating a land junction between the two regions.
