Fenghuang Panda Park, also known as Phoenix Chinese Giant Panda Park,is located 7 kilometers west of Phoenix Ancient City. With convenient transportation, it is 12 kilometers away from the high-speed railway Phoenix Station, 28 kilometers away from Tongren Phoenix Airport, 105 kilometers away from Huaihua Zhijiang Airport, and 217 kilometers away from Zhangjiajie Lotus International Airport.
The Phoenix China Giant Panda Park officially opened on June 28, 2020, integrating functions such as tourism and sightseeing, scientific research and popularization, leisure and entertainment. It is the largest panda base in China and abroad, except for Chengdu in Sichuan and Chimelong in Guangzhou. Eight giant pandas settled here in the early morning of May 29, 2020. At present, they have fully adapted to the local environment.
In order to better create the living and ecological environment of giant pandas, Phoenix China Panda Park has also introduced companion animals such as green peacocks, alpacas, parrots, and koi.
At the same time, in order to provide tourists with a better experience, this park also has tourism and leisure projects such as Panda Restaurant, Cafe, Lake Floating Bridge Corridor, Waterfront Plank Road, Children's Power Free Amusement Park, Feilada, and Slips.
