The Red Cloud Golden Summit, also known as the New Golden Summit, is as stone peak located in the Fanjing Mountain scenic area. Reaching a height of 94 meters, it looks like a huge towering stone pillar rising from the ground. It faces the Moon Mirror Mountain from north to south, forming a situation of two peaks facing each other. The scenery of the Red Cloud Golden Summit is extremely spectacular.
The Golden Summit Stone Peak faces a deep ravine below, and when viewed from a hundred miles away, it looks like a jade shoot piercing into the sky. Its top is often shrouded in clouds and mist, and under the shining sunlight, the clouds are brilliant and gorgeous, hence it is called the "Red Cloud Golden Summit", which sounds like the "Golden Summit of Good Fortune".
After leaving Cheng'en Temple, I returned to Pudu Square and decided to climb the Red Cloud Golden Summit. I wanted to see the beautiful scenery above the hidden clouds and mist at that time, and I wanted to take a look at the small mountains.
On this day, the air was refreshing and the wind was clear. The sea of clouds was gently intertwined between the peaks. Occasionally, I saw the morning dew floating on the stream grass, and I heard the rustling sound of the wind blowing through the trees, brushing my eyebrows, eyes, and heart.
At this time, there were not many tourists, and I kept taking photos from different angles while climbing, overlooking Mount Fanjing and seeing its Pure Land and Sanskrit Sound.
There is a Guanyin Cave on the mountainside of the Red Cloud Golden Summit. The cave is also known as the Da Er Cave （打儿洞）. It is said that if someone throws a small stone into this cave, they will become pregnant and have children, and the children can grow up healthy.
The mountain road winds around the steep cliffs, requiring both hands and feet to be used in steep areas. In some crevices, only one person can walk, which is known as the One Line Sky. Legend has it that the Golden Knife Gorge in this One Line Sky is about 90 meters deep.
On this journey of climbing, I repeatedly admired the Cheng'en Temple at the foot of Mount Fanjing and the old golden roof across from it. With different heights, flowing clouds drifted in and out of the clouds, and Mount Fanjing was like a poem or a painting, like smoke or a dream.
At the top of the Golden Knife Gorge, there is a five meter long stone arch bridge that spans in the air between the two gorges. There are two halls on each side of the golden roof, dedicated to the Present Buddha and the Future Buddha.
On the Golden Summit, there is a huge stone known as the Platform For Interpretation. It is said that the bridge above this golden roof was built by the Eight Immortals Tie Guaili using the remaining stones from Empress Nüwa to repair the sky in ancient times.
It is said that if you don't climb the golden summit when you come to Mount Fanjing, it is equivalent to coming in vain. The Red Cloud Golden Summit, also known as the treasure trove of Mount Fanjing, is unparalleled and rare. From the foot of the peak to the top, you need courage, patience, and a certain amount of physical strength to climb to the Red Cloud Golden Summit.
