Fuqi Feipian, known as Sliced Beef and Ox Tongue in Chilli Sauce, a Sichuan Han characteristic snack, is made of beef scalp, beef heart, beef tongue, beef tripe and beef, without lung. Pay attention to material selection, fine production, and exquisite seasoning. 

The dish is large and thin, glutinous, spicy, delicious, and tender. It is deeply loved by the masses. In order to distinguish it from other lung tablets, it is called "Fuqi Feipian (Sliced Beef and Ox Tongue in Chilli Sauce)". It is more particular about the materials and the quality is improving day by day.

Legend has it that in the 1930s, near Shaocheng, Chengdu, there was a man named Guo Chaohua who made and sold cold lung slices with his wife. The couple personally operated the business, wandering the streets and alleys, carrying baskets to sell. 

What they sell is indeed delicious, surpassing all lung slices. Not only are the materials carefully selected, but also the production is very fine, which makes people feel good when they see them. In addition, the fine seasoning makes them popular. Over time, people called the lung slices sold by the Guo couple "Fuqi Feipian (Sliced Beef and Ox Tongue in Chilli Sauce)" in order to distinguish them from other lung slices. 

In 1933, the Guo couple bridged in half of Chengdu, that is, a single room shop on the right side of the back door of the People's Park was set up for sale today, and the shop name was officially named "Fuqi Feipian (Sliced Beef and Ox Tongue in Chilli Sauce)". 

The plaque was inscribed with gold characters and black background, and was personally inscribed by Mr. Zhao Yunyu, a famous calligrapher who enjoys the title of "One of the Four Old People in Sichuan". 

After several changes, the store relocated to the west street of the bustling city, expanding its business scale and adding varieties such as beef noodles. Diners can not only taste lung slices, but also noodles to satisfy their hunger. 

Fuqi Feipian (Sliced Beef and Ox Tongue in Chilli Sauce) has gradually developed into a medium-sized snack bar.
