Shengshui Zen Temple , also Shenshui Pavilion, was originally the villa of Wu Yongxian, the governor of the Ming Dynasty. During the Ming Wanli period, it was renamed Shengshui Tmeple, and during the Qing Shunzhi period, it was renamed Shenshui Pavilion. The four levels of the palace: Guanyin Hall, Maitreya Hall, Daxiong Hall, and Samantabhadra Hall, are exquisitely constructed.
There is a couplet that says, "Holy water flows silently through the clear waters, and wise men enter the jade spring from afar. Outside the pavilion, there is a spring pool, also known as the Divine Water Pool. The spring water in the pool is clear to the bottom and inexhaustible throughout the year.
Under the scorching summer sun, the cold air was chilling. In the depths of winter, the trees in the surrounding mountains and temples are covered in silver. Despite the icy and snowy conditions, this pool still has warm air scattered throughout, warming people's hearts and being regarded as a sacred spring in the mountains.
