3 Days Lijiang Classic Tour，you will have an amazing trip to explore the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Black Dragon Pool Park, Baisha Village and Lijiang Old Town,not only to see the natural landscapes but also Naxi Ethnic culture of Yunnan.

Upon arrival at Lijiang Airport or Railway Station, your guide and driver will wait for you in the arrival hall and then transfer you to the hotel for check-in.
After a short rest, you will visit Lijiang Anicnet Town to start from the Square Street which is the center of economic and cultural exchange of Lijiang, as well as the most important hub on the Ancient Tea Horse Road. It is a about 1 acre center square with four main streets radiating to four directions which are connected with each other by many narrow lanes. While walking through the old town, you will immediately get overwhelmed by the small bridges, swift streams, cobbled streets and grey tiled roofs of the local houses. You will also see many local Naxi people wearing traditional costumes and headgears here.
After breakfast, we will first enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Baishui River flowing at the foot of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The riverbed is made of white marble and lime stones and the river looks white, hence the name of the White River (Baishui). Then we will proceed to Ganhaizi which is a highland glacial lake before the 1940s, but the water gradually dried up and turned into a vast meadow. Standing on the meadow, you can get a panorama of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. From the Ganhaizi, you will take a cable car to the Spruce Plateau and overlook the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which will give you a quite different visual enjoyment from the one you get at the Ganhaizi.
Afterwards, we will visit the Black Dragon Pool Park (Jade Spring Park). It is a beautiful and quiet park, where you can have an excellent view of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the reflection of the pool. If arriving early, you can have a chance to watch the local people practising Tai Chi and performing their traditional dances. Then wil will transfer you to the Baisha Village where you will visit a local Naxi family to get a close touch to their daily life. You will also pay a visit to the Baisha Murals to see the colorful murals with over 600 years' history.
After breakfast, we will turn to the nearby folklore Dongba Culture Museum, which will give you a very good introduction to the fascinating Dongba culture in terms of history, pictographic language, music, religion, etc. After lunch, we will see you off at the airport or the railway station for your onward destination. Driver and tour guide
The daily working time for driver and tour guide during this tour is maximum 10 hours per day. Overtime working hours will be charged extra.
Tipping drivers and tour guides is custom in China. We recommend giving CNY 50-80 (7 – 10 USD) per day to the driver and CNY 80-130 (10 – 15 USD) per day to your tour guide.
Weather
During the summer months (June to September) Yunnan knows a rainy season. It won’t be raining 24/7, but we recommend bringing a small umbrella that fits in a backpack.
Accommodation: The hotels in the itinerary are the recommended hotels, if they are fully booked during your travel period, we will book alternative hotels in the same price/quality range. We book different hotels on request too, but a surcharge might be needed. Please note that except for luxury hotels, in many hotels family rooms only have space for one child, but it could be possible to book an extra mattress in some hotels. Please contact us for more information when travelling with a family.
Meals
Lunches at authentic, quality local restaurants are included. Your guide will order dishes for you, if you have preferences or dietary requirements such as vegetarian, halal, kosher, vegan or gluten-free, please tell your tour guide in advance. Your tour guide will normally not order spicy food or meat/fish with bones unless asked for.
Transportation
This tour ends in Lijiang, transportation back to Kunming or another destination is not included in the tour price. Leaving Lijiang is easiest by air, train and bus. We are happy to help you book a flight, but a booking fee will be charged.
Other
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain has an altitude of 3000 meter, most people won’t get altitude sickness, but some might. Altitude sickens symptoms can include headaches, fatigue or nausea. Take a good rest the first day if you notice symptoms. Check our article about high altitudes for more info and tips
