Kaixuan Road Elevator is located at No. 11 Liansheng Lane, Yuzhong District, and is the first successful case in China to use indoor elevators for urban public transportation.
The project started construction in January 1985 and was officially put into operation after completion in February 1986. The elevator adopts DC handling and selection control, with a capacity of 21 passengers, a running speed of 2.5 meters per second, and a passenger capacity of 25000 people per day.
