Centered around Huangguoshu Waterfall, there are more than ten waterfalls distributed around it. Huangguoshu Waterfall is named after the many "Huangguoshu" trees growing in the area. The waterfall is surrounded by towering peaks and dense vegetation, with numerous canyons, caves, stone forests, and pillars, making it a typical karst landform.

1. Approaching the Great Waterfall
The fame of Huangguoshu Waterfall began with the famous traveler Xu Xiake in the Ming Dynasty, and after generations of dissemination, it has become a well-known scenic spot. Huangguoshu Waterfall has six viewing platforms, allowing visitors to admire the grandeur, wonder, danger, and beauty of the waterfall from six directions: up, down, front, back, left, and right.

Tourist Route
The ticket for Huangguoshu Scenic Area includes three major attractions: Huangguoshu Waterfall, Tianxingqiao Scenic Area, and Steep Slope Pond Waterfall. The general tourist route is from Doupotang Waterfall to Tianxingqiao Scenic Area and then to Huangguoshu Waterfall. The ticket is valid for two days. If you cannot complete the tour in one day, you can continue the next day. However, each scenic spot can only be visited once.
Steep Slope Pond Waterfall
The waterfall water cascades down along the surface of the waterfall, creating a magnificent and awe inspiring scene. If you're lucky, you can also see a beautiful rainbow. This is also the filming location for the ending theme song of the 1986 TV series "Journey to the West".

There are many snacks at the entrance of Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area, such as glutinous rice (with chili added, otherwise it won't taste good) and love tofu. There are many elderly Buyi people and children carrying baskets to sell eggs, cucumbers, and boiled corn in Tianxingqiao. The shops and stalls in the rest area sell Anshun wrapped rolls, cold noodles, etc., which are not expensive. Surrounding the scenic area are accommodations such as Huangguoshu Hotel, Jingu Waterfall Villa, and Liangyuan Hotel. Accommodation during holidays is quite tight, so you can stay in Anshun city.
