Datongnan Railway Station, located in Datong City, Shanxi Province, China, is a railway station under the jurisdiction of China Railway Taiyuan Group Co., Ltd. It is an intersection station of the Dazhong High speed Railway, the Wuda High speed Railway, and the Daxi High speed Railway. It is an important part of China's railway trunk line "Eight Verticals and Eight Horizontals" and a comprehensive transportation hub mainly composed of railways, integrating various transportation facilities such as long-distance passenger stations, bus stations, taxis, social vehicles, and urban rail transit stations.
Datong Yungang International Airport (IATA: DAT, ICAO: ZBDT) is located on North South Ring East Road in Beijiazao Town, Yunzhou District, Datong City, Shanxi Province, China, about 15.5 kilometers west of the city center. It is a 4C level international branch airport.
Route and waypoint
Starting from October 27, 2024, Datong Yungang International Airport will implement a winter and spring flight schedule, with plans to operate 14 routes and 23 cities. Four new routes have been added to Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, Xiamen, and Jinan, and destinations such as Shenyang, Changsha, Haikou, Qingdao, and Lanzhou have been encrypted.
On May 20, 2025, Datong Yungang International Airport and Hong Kong Greater Bay Area Airlines collaborated for the first time to open a direct flight route from Datong to Hong Kong. Xiongnu Airlines plans to officially open the "Datong=Ulaanbaatar" direct flight route from June 3rd. On July 6th, a direct flight from Datong to Moscow will be launched.
