Guangzhou is located along the subtropical coast, with the Tropic of Cancer passing through the central and southern regions. It belongs to a maritime subtropical monsoon climate, characterized by warm and rainy weather, abundant light and heat, long summers, and short frost periods. The annual average temperature is 21.9 degrees Celsius, making it one of the largest cities in China with the smallest annual average temperature difference. The hottest month of the year is July, with an average monthly temperature of 28.7 ℃. The coldest month is January, with an average monthly temperature of 13.5 ℃. The average relative humidity is 77%, and the annual rainfall is about 1736 millimeters. Throughout the year, April to June is the rainy season, July to September is hot with frequent typhoons, October, November, and March have moderate temperatures, and December to February is the cool winter season. During the same period of water and heat throughout the year, with abundant rainfall, it is conducive to plant growth and is known as the "Flower City" with evergreen and colorful flowers throughout the year.
