The show  not only contains the beautiful Mount Huangshan,  love legend between Dong Yong and the Seventh fairy, but also explains the historical reasons why Hui Merchants have dominated the Chinese business world for nearly 400 years, as well as the true historical story of Peking Opera, which reflects the essence of Chinese culture, evolved from the "Hui Opera Entering Beijing".

The show is divided into five acts: Four Seasons Mount Huangshan, Heaven and Earth, Dreaming of Huizhou, Hui Opera Going to Beijing,  Anhui Style & Hui Rhyme. Each act is relatively independent and interrelated.

Through epic scenes and various means of expression such as music, dance, acrobatics, modern Huizhou opera, Beijing opera, flower drum lanterns, folk song singing, and joyful singing and dancing, the Hui Rhyme Show takes the audience into the dreamy Ming and Qing dynasties.

The love story between Dong Yong and the Seventh Fairy is heartbreaking. After going through countless hardships in the business process, Huizhou merchants were finally accepted by people. So, perhaps only after watching the entire drama in its entirety can you truly understand the cultural meaning of "Huizhou".
