Black Dragon Pool, also known as Heilongtan Park, is located at the foot of Wulao Peak on Longquan Mountain in the northern suburbs of Kunming City. It is a park centered around an ancient spring pool. There are numerous historical sites and dense plants in the park, especially the famous plum blossoms. Deep in the park, built against the mountain, is Shangguan, also known as Longquan Temple. It is a grand courtyard with layers of five entrances, which is very spectacular.
The plum garden located north of the "Longquan Temple" in Shangguan is the main attraction in the garden, with thousands of plum trees planted and many ancient plums. Every winter, large areas of plum blossoms bloom in the park. If you arrive in Kunming at this time, don't miss it.
