Yunnan Nation Village is located in the south side of Kunming city, on the bank of Dianchi Lake, which is a popular place for traveling in Kunming. Inside the village, there are villages of 25 ethnic minorities such as Dai, Bai, Yi, etc. built 1:1, and each of them has different folklore and craft performances, so you can see the flavor of many ethnic groups in Yunnan in one day.
Among the nation villages, Dai Village and Yi Village are worth seeing. The Dai Village is full of tropical and subtropical plants, and is dotted with exquisite and elegant Dai bamboo buildings. The eye-catching white tower in the village is “Bozhong Pagoda”, which is built in proportion to the Yunyan Pagoda in Yingjiang, Dehong Prefecture, with 40 small pagodas clustered around the tall main tower and 365 wind bells, which are very pleasant to the ears.
Yi Village is worth seeing is the Sun Calendar Square, the square in the middle of a stone pillar, the ancient Yi people is through the stone pillar of the sun and shadow to observe the time.
