Yellow Crane Tower


Yellow Crane Tower is located in Wuhan, Hubei Province, on the south bank of the Yangtze River in Wuchang, on top of the Serpentine Peak Ridge. It was built in the Three Kingdoms era in the second year of Wu Huangwu (223 AD), and has been built and destroyed many times over the generations. The Yellow Crane Tower that we see today was rebuilt in 1985.

The Yellow Crane Tower is a national 5A-level attraction, enjoying the name of “the best view in the world” and “the first building of the world's rivers and mountains”, and is one of the city landmarks of Wuhan, which is famous for the verses of the Tang Dynasty poet Cui Hao, and the poems of Li Bai and other poems left for the Yellow Crane Tower. Climbing up the Yellow Crane Tower, you can see the rolling Yangtze River and the scenery of the three towns of Wuhan from afar.

Yellow Crane Tower is located in the Yellow Crane Tower Park on the south bank of the Yangtze River in Wuhan, and is the main attraction of the park, with unified ticketing for the park and the Yellow Crane Tower. The Yellow Crane Tower is known as the “Three Famous Buildings of Jiangnan” together with Yueyang Tower and Tengwang Pavilion. Yellow Crane Tower is located on the top of Snake Mountain, the building 5-story, more than 50 meters high, 72 columns rise up from the ground, 60 horns stretching in the air, just like a yellow crane flying. Each floor of the building is decorated with large-scale murals, cultural relics and so on.
