Yangjiajie Cable Car, operated by Yangjiajie Cableway Co.,Ltd, is located in Yangjiajia Scenic Spot of Wulingyuan Scenic Area. The lower station of Yangjiajie Cable Car stands at Yejipu Village of Zhonghu Township,which is about 2km away from Yangjiajie Ticket Office, also known as the West Entrance Gate of Wulingyuan Scenic Area. And the upper station is built at Liujiayan Village, which is about 10 minutes driving to Yuanjiajie and 30 minutes driving to He Long Park(Tianzi Mountain) by shuttle bus. The vertical height difference between the upper station and the lower station is 517 meters.
Yangjiajie cableway is equipped with French Poma cableway equipment, which is a world-class dual loop loop cableway equipped with an 8-person carriage. This cableway has a total length of 1876 meters and a one-way travel time of 5.2 minutes. It is currently one of the most advanced passenger cableways in the world.
The opening of the Yangjiajie Cableway not only showcases the wonders of the Yangjiajie Peak Wall in front of tourists, but also facilitates convenient transportation between Yangjiajie and scenic areas such as Tianzi Mountain, Yuanjiajie, and Huangshizhai, which is conducive to the diversion of peak passenger flowing.
