The Wind and Rain Bridge is a unique bridge of the Dong ethnic group. It consists of a bridge, tower, and pavilion, all built of wood, with a bridge deck paved and railings and benches on both sides to form a long corridor style walkway. The tower and pavilion are built on stone bridge piers, with many layers, upturned eaves, and decorations such as treasure gourds on the top. They are known as one of the top ten most incredible bridges in the world. Because pedestrians can avoid wind and rain when passing by, it is called Wind and Rain Bridge. In Dong villages, there are usually wind and rain bridges built over rivers and streams. People design various types of wind and rain bridges according to their preferences and the width of the riverbed. There are exquisite railings and comfortable seats on both sides of the bridge deck for people to rest. It is said that the Wind and Rain Bridge is built on the creek and river not only to provide convenient transportation for people, but also to suppress evil spirits
