Liye Ancient Town


Liye Ancient Town is located in the south of Longshan County of Xiangxi Tujia & Miao Autonomous Prefecture. Connecting Chongqing in the southwest,it is an important border town on the Youshui River. Historically, it was an important channel from the Central Plains to the southwest of China, known as "Chu Shu Tong Jin". 

Liye Town is also a famous History of China and culture town, a famous scenic tourism town with Chinese characteristics, and a hometown with Chinese characteristics. There are many scenic spots in the scenic spot, such as the Liye Qin Slips Museum, the ruins of the ancient city of Liye, the ancient blocks of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the Qin Culture Theme Park, and the Back Street of the Republic of China. 

Among them, the Liye Qin Slips Museum contains more than 8000 cultural relics unearthed from the Warring States Period to the Qin and Han Dynasties. It is not only a national second-class museum, but also a branch of the Capital Museum.

 In 2002, over 38000 Qin slips were unearthed from the Liye Ancient City site. The ancient streets of the Ming and Qing dynasties mainly include the "Seven Streets, Six Alleys, and Five Elements". Scenic spots such as Ge Yuanji Guoyao Shop, Qu Family Courtyard, Li Tongfa Shop, Chen Yongtai, and Tang Fuji are located in these seven streets and six alleys.
