Tanziling Scenic Area
It officially began receiving visitors from China and abroad in 1997. It is named after its top observation deck, which resembles an inverted jar. The scenic area is located at a dam construction survey point, with an altitude of 262.48 meters. It is a location for enjoying the panoramic view of the Three Gorges Project, not only the majestic Three Gorges Dam, but also the towering "Fourth Gorge of the Yangtze River" two-way five level ship lock. The entire park is divided into three layers from top to bottom with increasing height, mainly consisting of a model exhibition hall, a Wannian River Bottom Stone, a Great River Diversion Stone, a Three Gorges Dam Site cornerstone, a silver version of the Heavenly Book, and a Tanziling Observation Deck. 185 Scenic Spots
The 185 Scenic Spots are located at the left bank end of the Three Gorges Dam crest road, named after being at the same height as the Three Gorges Dam crest and at an altitude of 185 meters.
