Three Visitors Cave， also called Sanyou Dong 三游洞 in Chines, is located on the steep cliffs of the northern peak of Xiling Mountain in the northwest of Yichang, backed by the mouth of Xiling Gorge and facing Xialao Creek, with a steep terrain.
The surrounding scenery is magnificent and was once referred to as a "fantasy realm" by ancient people. The main attractions include San You Dong, Zhi Xi Ting, Chu Sai Lou, Gu Jun Lei Site, Zhang Fei Drum Beating Platform, Lu You Quan, etc.
The terrain of the Three Visitors Cave is steep and steep, resembling a canopy. The cave is open, with a depth of about 30 meters, a width of about 23 meters, and a height of about 9 meters. It is a limestone cave formed by the continuous dissolution and collapse of underground water along the rock surface in ancient times.
