Chinese Silk has a long history. China began raising silkworms, collecting silk, and weaving silk in the mid Neolithic period five or six thousand years ago. By the Shang Dynasty, silk production had begun to take shape, with a high level of craftsmanship and complex weaving machines and techniques.

After development, the silk industry gradually grew, especially after the establishment of the People's Republic of China in 1949, and the silk industry entered a new historical period.

Ruifuxiang Silk Shop is a silk shop that opened during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. The ancient gate tower with a combination of Chinese and Western styles and a two-story building with a courtyard all indicate the extraordinary status of this time-honored brand. The store mainly offers silk and satin clothes, as well as customized cheongsam and other services. Many people come here to customize wedding dresses and traditional cotton quilts.
