The name Long Chao Shou is not derived from the owner's surname Long, but from the founder Zhang Wuguang and his friends discussing the opening of a Chao Shou shop in the "Nong Hua Tea Garden" at that time. When discussing the name of the shop, they borrowed the character "Nong" from the "Nong Hua Tea Garden" and used the homophonic character "Long" as their name, which also implies the meaning of "dragon leaping and tiger leaping", "good luck", and "prosperity" in business.

The "Longchao Shou" in Chengdu was established in Yuelaichang in 1941, and moved to Xinjichang in the early 1950s. After the 1960s, it moved to the southern section of Chunxi Road and has a history of more than 60 years.

The main features of Longchao Shou are thin skin, tender filling, and fresh soup. This kind of Wonton skin is made of super grade flour and a few ingredients. It is rubbed slowly and rolled into a translucent shape that is "as thin as paper and as thin as silk". The meat filling is tender, smooth, and delicious.

The original soup is made by simmering and simmering meat from several parts of chicken, duck, and pig. This snack is tender and delicious, with a slightly spicy and strong aroma in the soup.
