Laowuchang Tourist Spot, also known as the Old House Farm Tourist Spot, is located on the west part of the Tianzi Mountain. Facing the Bailong Elevator from afar, it is an undeveloped scenic spot in the Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve.
What to see in the Laowuchang Scenic Spot?
The tour route of Old House Farm is very secluded, and the main attractions here include: Sky Field Garden, Yuanyang Waterfall, Divine Soldier Gathering, etc.
Sky Field Garden
Legend has it that before the sixth century AD, there was an aerial garden in Babylon, known as one of the seven wonders of the world. However, the historical records of this aerial garden are not detailed, and people only know that it is a flower and grass garden topped by stone pillars tens of meters high. And in front of me, Tuotuo is an unparalleled aerial countryside. Ahead, the abruptly uplifted foothills soar on three sides, with one side leaning against the foot of our mountain. A flat green field on the mountaintop. Looking from a distance, it looks like an open blanket, interspersed with farmhouses. It's really a masterpiece of divine craftsmanship, unbelievable. In the green field, you can still distinguish a winding path, winding towards another mountaintop. Perhaps the farmers in the countryside came out of their paradise from here. As far as you can see, you can see the Bailong Elevator in the opposite Yuan Family World plunging into the deep valley from the sky.
Divine Soldier Gathering
In the old housing market, there are no longer some old houses. Before 2019, the residents living in these old houses have moved to outside of Wulingyuan National Scenic Spot Scenic Area. But here, you can still see the magnificent attraction of the Divine Soldier Gathering. In front of them, straight pillars of pens stood up from the bottom of the valley, with extraordinary bearing and majestic demeanor, resembling soldiers wearing armor and shawls. Legend has it that this used to be the place where the king and emperor gathered their soldiers, so people called these scenes of towering peaks and pillars the gathering of divine soldiers.
Yuanyang Waterfall
Yuanyang Waterfall, also known as the Mandarian Duck Waterfall, is located in the western part of the Laowuchang Scenic Spot. With over 100 meters, it is a white flowing stream flows down from the top of a stone cliff. Due to the obstruction of a stone in the middle, the waterfall is divided into two streams and then flows into a pool to merge, hence the name Yuanyang Waterfall. And the stream is also named Yuanyang Stream after this waterfall.
There are no SHUTTLE BUS arriving there. If you want to visit there, you can take a sightseeing tram from Dingxiangrong Village to arrive at an additional cost of CNY 50 per person. If walking alive, it will take 2 hours per trip. Therefore, there are very few tourists coming there.
